For: the account owner (admin)
The portal at matrixhost.eu is where you manage your server: your plan, your team's accounts, backups and more. Your team chats in Element; only you need the portal.
Signing in
Sign in to the portal with the email address you used when you bought your plan. The portal login and your Matrix login (the username admin in Element) are two separate things. See Set your password and sign in.
The pages in the sidebar
- Dashboard: the overview. The cards Account Status, Instance, Plan and Domain show how your server is doing. Storage Usage shows how many GB are included, how much is used and a table per user. In Your Matrix login you set or change your own password and click Open Element. AI Usage shows how much of this month's AI budget is spent.
- Billing: your plan, next renewal date, upgrades, order history and cancellation. See Your plan and billing.
- Contacts: connect Google Contacts so bridged WhatsApp and Signal chats show real names. See Show real names in bridged chats.
- Backups: your daily backups and the button to make one by hand. See Backups.
- Call Redirect: an automatic reply for people who call you on WhatsApp. See WhatsApp call redirect.
- Custom Domain: open your server under your own address, such as
chat.acme.com. See Use your own domain. - Settings: Users (create accounts, reset passwords, deactivate) and Bridges (the status of every bridge). See Add your team.

Good to know
- Only the account owner signs in to the portal. Your colleagues never need it: they use Element with the account you created for them.
- The portal is in English. The help articles quote its labels in English so you can find them easily.
